Dr. R. S. Meena (Dr. Ram Swaroop Meena) is a doctorate in Commerce. He earned his Post Graduation in commerce and Ph.D. in ‘Marketing’ from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He is having a rich experience of administration and teaching. He had worked with the Planning Department Govt. of Rajasthan at Jaipur for about ten years and presently serving as an academician for last 15 years with the Faculty of Commerce, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He is having a hardcore research experience too in his area of specialisation.

Dr. Meena is editor of an International Journal of Development Studies (IJDS, ISSN-0975-5799), associate editor and reviewer of several other Journals of repute. He has many text books to his credit in commerce and management which are useful for the students of B.Com, BBA, MBA, M.Com, MRIM, MEMP, MFC, ICWA, CA, and CS. He has taught HRM, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Business Environment, Business Statistics, Business Communication and Information Technology to B.Com, M.Com, MRIM, MEMP, MFC and MRIM Students.

He has, to his credit, a number of articles and research papers published and presented at several national, international conferences & journals including ICA, AIAC, AIEA, NSDPE, NASPA, RDA, NAGAP, IJDS, AACRAO, IJEMT,GJEIS,JAM, LNCT-MER,IJDR, IIPC ,PRAJNA, and HGSE.

He is and has been research guide to many Research Scholars in the area of commerce and management.

He is a frequent speaker in different academic forums and guest lecturer to various universities and institutions. He has also developed a few courses for Universities such as Innovations and Technology Management, Human Resource Management, Industrial Relation, Basic Communication and Information Technology, Entrepreneurship, Conflict Resolution studies and other major frontier in Social Sciences. He is in the panel of Selection Boards and distinguished organizing committees. He is working on Academic + Industry partnership also.

He has developed and coordinated a program in e-Content, Seminar and e-Assignment. He has been planning to come-up with concept and idea of Development Studies, an ERP-Consortium and Educational portal where industry and academia come together.
